Le Binh Huynh (黃麗萍) has been passionate about noodles for over 30 years, inspired by the discipline and patience of her father to strive for excellence in all things. Travelling became a journey to find the best hot spots for traditional & regional foods in China, Vietnam and Japan.
Le Binh's family originate from the Hakka (客家) people; from Guangdong in Southern China. The literal translation for Hakka in Chinese characters means "Family Guest".
Le Binh's father, born in Guangdong (广东省,大埔県,梅州市) became a respected businessman in Vietnam before arriving in Maastricht with his family in 1979.
Le Binh finds it a challenge to live a day without Noodle soup, and when she entertains at home by making fresh Vietnamese spring rolls or Wan ton soup, or dipping noodles or homemade Gyoza there seems to be endless amounts of food for all our family and friends...................
A superabundance of anything: a mass of things, a heap or a great quantity.
Examples: oodles of money, oodles of food, oodles of time.
So, Oodles represents wealth & endless longevity, not only in money terms, but in all things positive (health & abundance) an important mindset for Chinese culture.
With this passion and hospitality in mind, Le Binh warmly welcomes you to Noodle bar OODLES OF NOODLES where the authenticity and flavour of the dishes are uncompromised, timeless and endless...........
